NuRol POS uses the Star MCP31L to simplify tablet POS

It's always good practice to run your POS system (even iOS) through a cabled ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi. Star's MCP31L printer provides a stable platform to connect your iPad or tablet to your network without the addition of finnicky adapters.

The MCP31L uses SteadyLAN to provide wired Ethernet service to iOS, Android, and Windows devices connected to a networked printer via the Lightning or USB-C® cable.

Since adding the MCP31L to our Heartland Restaurant hardware bundles, we've basically eliminated the dropped Wi-Fi connection and tablet charging issues that plague many tablet installs. The printer simplifies the setup and reduces the clutter of additional cables and power supply required by adapters.
